Live Russian translation for your church

For Slavic churches and the Russian-speaking neighbors who have found their way to yours.

Live · Русский

Добро пожаловать, братья и сёстры! Сегодня мы читаем третью главу Евангелия от Иоанна.

What your pastor said: “Welcome, brothers and sisters! Today we are reading the third chapter of the Gospel of John.”

Slavic evangelical churches, many founded by believers who left the Soviet Union, are a strong presence in places like the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. Their young people often grew up here and follow English more easily than their parents do.

Russian is also a shared language for many believers from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Same Sermon can offer Russian and Ukrainian side by side, so everyone chooses the language they prefer.

Good to know

  • The Russian Synodal Bible numbers many Psalms differently: the Shepherd Psalm is Psalm 22 there. It’s worth a mention when you announce the reading.
  • Your pastor can preach in Russian with English captions, or in English with Russian captions.
  • Listen mode uses the phone’s own Russian voice.

How it works

Russian captions in three steps.

  1. Connect the sound

Open the live console in a browser at the sound desk and let it hear the pastor’s microphone.

  2. Choose Russian

Add Russian to your service, or choose it as the language your pastor preaches in. Share the QR code in the bulletin or on a slide.

  3. Neighbors follow along

They scan, choose Русский, and read or listen on their own phone.
