It’s good, and it keeps improving, but it isn’t perfect. AI translation can miss names, idioms, humor and very fast speech, and it struggles with muddy or echoing sound. We recommend asking a bilingual member to follow along on your first Sunday and tell you what they notice. Let listeners know it’s a machine translation, too.

On the Church plan, add a custom word list: your pastors’ names, your church and ministry names, and any Bible or theological terms you want handled a certain way. Same Sermon also aims to use the wording that churches in each language already use for Bible terms.

Captions usually appear a few seconds after the pastor speaks. The translation needs to hear enough of a sentence to understand it, so it will always run a little behind the live voice.

No. Listeners are anonymous. They don’t create an account or give us a name or email, and we don’t track who is listening. That matters for everyone, and especially for believers who have reasons to be careful.
